Honoring A Loved One Through The Dish That Tells Their Story

Food has a powerful way of keeping memories alive. Some of the most meaningful recipes are the ones tied to the people we love — the dishes that show up at family tables, celebrations, and quiet moments alike.

One of the most meaningful things I get to do in my own family as a food creator is bring those stories and moments to life. My goal is to celebrate the person and the memories connected to their food. I would like to do that for you and your families as well.

If you have a family member, past or present, whose favorite dish or signature recipe you’d like me to recreate, I’d be truly honored to make it and celebrate their story through the food they loved. I will prepare the recipe, highlight the person behind it, and share your tribute so their legacy – and the memories connected to this dish – can continue to be celebrated by many.

You’re welcome to send one or more recipes that hold deep meaning in your family, especially dishes your loved one still makes, still enjoys, or is remembered for. If you don’t have the recipe, that’s completely fine – I can recreate one for you.

Once you’ve chosen the person and the dish, please fill out the interview below. I will share their story, make the dish, and help preserve the memory in a way that keeps their presence alive through the food they loved.

These tribute projects involve ingredients, preparation time, and production, so if you would consider a minimum donation of $10 that would be appreciated. It’s never required for me to create your tribute, but your support helps make these projects possible.
